Private School Entrance Exam

It is most likely that your child will have to sit an entrance exam if you want them to attend a private school. Tests can vary with some schools preparing their own test and others that may choose to use the Common Entrance Exam. This is a standard test set by the Independent Schools Examination Board (ISEB).

Pass marks can vary and the more desirable the school the higher the pass marks.

In many cases entrance tests are taken around 6 to 9 months before entry. We have experienced Tutors who have coached for Leeds Grammar School, Gateways and Harrogate Ladies College.
